1. What is a private Tibet Tour?

You (maybe yourself only, or with your spouse, or your family, or your friends) will have an English speaking licensed tour guide, a private vehicle (with size in accordance with the size of the group) and a licensed driver. The guide, driver and vehicle will be at your service during the whole trip organized by Access Tibet Tour.

We provide all kinds of Tibet tour programs as below. Other than these pre-designed tour packages, we also provide tailormade service if you have any special requirement. Our professional travel consultants will design your trip according to your needs.

F: China Tours

Access Tibet Tour has a long established relationship with tour operators in major tour destinations in China. We are also able to arrange tours in Beijing, Xi'an, Shanghai, Guilin, Kunming, Suzhou, Hangzhou, and Yangtze river cruises besides Tibet tours. Just tell us where you want to go, and leave the rest to us!

2. How to work out your tour itinerary and a price for it?

Since we know every traveler's interest and requirement is UNIQUE, we provide personalized travel service to you, whether you are individual travelers, couples, families, or a group people from an organization. Here are easy steps for us to work out a perfect itinerary and reasonable price:

1) Decide how many days you have to travel in Tibet; and when you want to begin;

2) Decide what places or areas you want to go;

3) Choose a tour route from the list above or simply give us a list of places you want to go and then just leave the rest to us.

4) Tell us the number of travelers. The bigger the group size is, the better discount you can get. We provide free trip for one person for every 16 people (not including the airfare). Single traveler will need to pay single supplement;

5) Tell us the the class of the hotel you want to stay. - The accommodation conditions are not as good as in Beijing and Shanghai. The best available hotel in Lhasa is 4 star. We provide 4 star, 3 star hotels and guesthouse (cheaper hotels which have a variety of rooms with or without bathroom). For most North American travelers, we suggest that you choose 3 star hotels or better;

6) Tell us if you need air tickets from us. We provide air tickets in and out of Lhasa, and we can also provide tickets for domestic flights all over China.

7) Tell us if you have any other special requirements (e.g. vegetarian, not certain meats, non-smoking, etc.)

8) Important notes: Please keep in mind that you must enter and exit Tibet within the duration listed on your Tibet travel permit. (for example: If you book a two day tour, you cannot stay in Tibet for three days or more: you MUST leave after two days.
